HFA Retailer of the Year 2023

We are thrilled to announce that BILTRITE has received the Home Furnishings Association’s (HFA) RETAILER OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR 2023! We are honored to be recognized as a leader in the home furnishings industry.

This recognition by the HFA is, at once, humbling and touching as we embark upon our 95th year in business. We must pay tribute to our founding family members who founded BILTRITE as a small storefront located at 3rd and Garfield Street in downtown Milwaukee, to our second-generation family members who brought BILTRITE to the famous shopping district on Mitchell Street on the southside of Milwaukee for a 58-year run that ushered in the 3rd generation to our latest home of 17 years on Layton Avenue on furniture row in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Now led by our 3rd and 4th generations along with our amazing team, BILTRITE continues to be locally and family owned. Thank you to our past and present employees, our loyal customers, HFA, Furniture First Buying Group, and the many vendors and Amish builders with whom we have nurtured relationships over the years! We have come a long way since 1928 and look forward to continuing to be a locally and family-owned Metro Milwaukee-area institution! We do what we do because we love and have passion for what we do!
