We don’t skip steps unlike our competitors including online retailers!
- Our deliveries are made by a professional, full-service delivery company.
- All items are unboxed and/or unwrapped in our store so our experienced technicians can properly inspect them BEFORE we deliver to your home.
- All deliveries also include setup in your home: White Glove Delivery. THIS IS NOT CURBSIDE DELIVERY OR FREE SHIPPING IN A BOX LEFT ON YOUR PORCH OR DRIVEWAY.
- The room must be empty and ready to accept delivery before our crew arrives. Please remove any hanging pictures, existing furniture or other items in the path of the delivery men. Even for a tip, the delivery crew cannot move any existing items. The insurance company will only bond them to move furniture that was purchased at BILTRITE, with the exception of mattresses, recliners, and chairs only if noted on your order.
- The drivers accept and appreciate any tips.
- It is your responsibility to remove old furniture, as we do not move or haul the existing furniture, except for donatable mattresses and recliners/chairs if noted on your sales order. There can be no stains, rips, tears or protruding metal, or any actual/potential health hazards. We can provide a list of charities in the area and many of them will pick up old furniture items for donation. It is also your responsibility to protect your flooring or carpet from scratches, damage or stains during delivery. Please note: if the weather is inclement, it is your responsibility to shovel a path and salt for our delivery staff before they arrive. The delivery staff is not allowed to take off their shoes for any reason and cannot put on booties for safety and insurance reasons.
Learn About Our FREE In-Store Pick-Up
Our large warehouse is conveniently connected to our showroom (south side of the building), allowing for Pick-Up of in-stock mattresses and furniture (preparation of 1-2 days). This does not apply to special orders. We have over 500 mattresses in-stock, as well as a large selection of furniture from every category. You may also buy selected floor models. For your convenience, we schedule Pick-Ups during store hours! Be sure to bring along blankets and tie downs as all furniture picked up is opened, unboxed and inspected before you take it home with you. Please bring a big enough vehicle to accommodate your items. Also, please note it is your responsibility to load your merchandise. BILTRITE will gladly assist if needed. We don’t skip steps like our competitors including online retailers!
HOW MERCHANDISE COMES FOR PICK-UPS:
- Furniture is opened (un-boxed or unwrapped) in our store so our technicians can properly inspect the items.
- Recliners are opened & out of the box.
- Wood pieces are opened & out of the box.
- All floor models are opened & unwrapped.
- Mattresses and box springs are in factory sealed plastic.
- Metal bed frames come in a box.
- Most upholstery from the warehouse is wrapped in plastic.
- Smith Brothers is covered with an unsecured piece of light plastic.
- Legs/bases are not attached to dining table tops for easy transport.
